The Three Couch Problem

How Paris taught me to compromise.

Our apartment that was 90% perfect that still didn’t have enough room for guests, a baby, or two couches.

It’s been a minute, that’s because I didn’t have WIFI or childcare for a few weeks due to the move I’m about to tell you a little about.

We have this amazing convertible guest bed thing—I call it a “thing” because it’s a somewhat unclassifiable product. It’s kind of a couch, but without a frame or legs or anything, and in one movement—bam—it becomes a queen sized memory foam mattress for guests that is 1,000 times more comfortable and dignified than an inflatable mattress. It was also a clever solution for when I didn’t want to crowd my dressing room with an actual guest bed.
