Remember when The Soprano’s did a Last Supper poster? Apparently neither does the conservative right lol.

Some moments from the Paris 2024 Olympics opening ceremony I thought the world would find scandalous:

  1. The ode to ménage à trois—tough for the prudes to see

  2. The effigy of a decapitated Marie Antoinette—probably only awkward for Macron tbh

  3. Massive amounts of diversity and female power throughout—the racists and misogynists hate to see it

  4. The shameful length of some of these segments that dragged on (isn’t gluttony a sin?)—only offensive to me

But those weren’t really the bees stuck in the bonnets of the (mostly) Americans who have been complaining about the opening ceremony. Okay, some French conservatives too but I’m less familiar with them so lets speak of Americans. Their pious beef was about the Last Supper moment.
